Dress: "Sakura Petal"

Sakura is a beloved symbol with multiple meanings in Japan.

On the one hand, it symbolizes the transience of life, its fleetingness and fragility. This meaning is associated with the Japanese principle of mono no aware—the sad fascination with things that quickly die, the longing for fading beauty, and the melancholy contemplation of the world.
On the other hand, it represents the period of falling in love and confessing one's love.
In our image, we wanted to strike a balance between the brief moment of love and the fragility of a maiden. She is beautiful—in the moment, enchanting and captivating.

All the petals on the dress are handcrafted from lavender silk. They give the skirt a light, weightless quality. As she spins, the petals seem to float around her.
